    Gentle Manual Therapy

Craniosacral intervention is a gentle, hands-on approach using light touch to address areas of tension and support comfortable movement and function. Drawing on training through the Upledger Institute, we tailor our approach to each child's needs and responses.

Our focus is on function—how the body moves, coordinates, and works together. Gentle manual therapy may complement care by supporting comfort, mobility, and more comfortable movement patterns as part of a whole-child approach.

Gentle manual therapy provided as a stand-alone service is private pay and is not covered by insurance.

    Newborns & Children

Gentle manual therapy may be incorporated into care for infants and children when tension or movement patterns affect comfort or function. Depending on the child's needs, this may include support related to feeding difficulties, torticollis, limited movement, or head and facial asymmetry.

When appropriate, manual techniques may complement feeding therapy to support comfortable positioning and oral movement. Each session is individualized, guided by the child's cues, and focused on their functional needs.
