Owner and Practitioner
Alyssa is a Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Lactation Counselor who brings both heart and clinical experience to her work with young children and their families. As a mom and seasoned pediatric provider, she understands how stressful—and meaningful—the early years can be when it comes to feeding and communication.
Tiny Talk Trio was born from Alyssa’s deep desire to support families during some of their most vulnerable moments. Whether helping a baby latch at the breast, a family learning about a feeding tube, a toddler with oral aversions, or a child navigating speech delays, Alyssa offers thoughtful, personalized care every step of the way.
Her approach is holistic, blending evidence-based feeding and communication therapy with modalities like oromyofunctional and craniosacral therapies, to support long-term development. Alyssa believes that when parents feel empowered and children feel safe and comfortable, real progress happens.
Growing up in the Gallatin Valley, Alyssa’s Montana roots and broad life experience allow her to meet families where they are, honoring their values and journeys.
In addition to clinical care, Alyssa is active in community-building and has served on the boards of Roots Family Collaborative, Montana Outdoor Science School, and the Mother’s Milk Bank of Montana.
She’s honored to walk alongside families during such foundational years and is deeply committed to helping children thrive.
TESTIMONIALS
Professional Consultation & Collaboration
Over the years, I have been frequently asked by colleagues and referring providers to offer consultation, case support, and program development, which has expanded my role beyond direct service delivery. I value these collaborative relationships and am committed to sharing clinical insight in ways that support both providers and families.
Professional services offered include:
Comprehensive feeding and functional evaluations
Professional consultations and case reviews
Collaborative care and second opinions
Support in developing or refining feeding programs and clinical treatment approaches
Education and guidance related to oral function and tethered oral tissues
Mentorship and collaborative problem-solving for fellow clinicians
I have completed extensive continuing education in pediatric feeding, oral-motor and orofacial function, tethered oral tissues, craniosacral and body-based approaches, and interdisciplinary care. My work is grounded in current evidence while remaining responsive to the clinical nuance and variability seen in real-world practice.
I value collaboration and believe optimal outcomes are achieved through shared clinical reasoning, open communication, and a focus on long-term functional goals. I welcome opportunities to consult, collaborate, and support colleagues in their work.
