Breastfeeding
Compassionate, Personalized Breastfeeding Support
While breastfeeding is natural, it often comes with challenges such as latching difficulties, milk supply concerns, or discomfort. Lactation support is offered by a certified lactation counselor and speech-language pathologist, using an individualized, whole-body approach that considers both parent and baby. Care includes evaluation of newborn oral function and feeding patterns to help identify and address challenges early, supporting a more comfortable and fulfilling breastfeeding experience. Every family’s journey is unique, and early support can provide the knowledge and confidence needed to move forward.

Breastfeeding Challenges
When Additional Feeding Support May Be Helpful
Signs that additional lactation support may be helpful include pain or discomfort during feedings, inefficient movement of the baby’s tongue, lips, or cheeks, very short or prolonged nursing sessions, ongoing hunger after feeds, limited or inconsistent swallowing sounds, slow weight gain by two weeks, breasts remaining full after feeding, or digestive concerns such as reflux. Identifying and addressing these concerns early can support a more comfortable, connected breastfeeding experience for both parent and baby.
